GPON XGPON NGPON CEx Module
shenzhen Pusmai Technology Co.,Ltd CEx module is one type of WDM which multiplex/demultiplex optical signals used in xPON networks in a passive way in order to coexist on the same optical fibre. This device is referred to as the “Coexistence Element” or CEx in ITU-T G.98x Recommendations and it is considered as an element of the ODN.
When considering coexistence for xPON technologies, following signals are wildly used :
l GPON, XGS-PON and NG-PON2 signals
l OTDR signals used for in-service fibre testing in access networks
l RF video overlay signals
