OTN Frame

OTN frame can implement different service requirements by configuring different frame and modules. The OTN provides two types of frame: the electrical layer and the optical layer. The electrical layer frame supports the OTN service module and supports the intersection function of the adjacent slots. The optical layer frame has the same function as the traditional DWDM frame. Modules for amplification and optical protection do not support OTN module and electrical layer crossover.

The slot 1 and slot 19 are fixed for DC PSU module.

The OTN service module and the ODM module can be inserted into the slot 2 to slot 17. The 7-12 slots can be split into half-height slots, and the optical amplifier module and optical protection type can be inserted half-height.

The SC module is fixedly inserted into the slot 18 and the slot 20.

The SI module is fixedly inserted into the slot 22.

The FAN module is fixedly inserted into the slot 21 .

OTN-V is divided into four types of chassis.

(1)Configuration 1: 7 full height slots.

(2)Configuration 2: 6 full-height slots and 3 half-height slots.

(3)Configuration 3: 4 full height slots and 7 half height slots.

(4)Configure 4:15 half-height slots.

The DC power supply module is fixedly inserted into slot 9 and slot 10.

The SC module is fixedly inserted into slot 1 and slot 12.

 The OTN service module and the ODM module can be inserted into the slot 2 to slot 8. and can also be split into half-height slots, inserted into the optical amplifier module and optical protection. High-service modules.

The slot 20 can be inserted into a half-height service module.

The slot 11 is fixedly inserted into the FAN module.

The OTN service module can be inserted into slot 1 and slot 2.

The SI module is fixedly inserted into the slot.

The AC power supply module (occupy 2 slots) can be inserted into the slot 4 and slot 5, and the ODM module can also be inserted.

The AC power supply module (occupy 2 slots) can be inserted into the slot 6 and slot 7. The optical mux and demux module can also be inserted.

The DC power supply module are fixedly inserted into the slot 8 and slot 9.

The slot 10 is fixedly inserted into Fan module.
